Interested in joining the ACBS?  Have a friend who would like to join?  The ACBS Chesapeake Bay Chapter (CBC) welcomes all new members from age 1 to 100.  Some of the many benefits of membership include:

  A comprehensive listing of ACBS members and their contact information.  This is a great resource for those who are restoring or preserving an antique or classic boat.

  Annual membership includes four issues of the Antique & Classic Boat Society’s official magazine.

  ACBS members are eligible for a 10% premium discount on boats insured through Hagerty Classic Marine Insurance, Inc.

  Annual membership includes a subscription to the Chesapeake Bay Chapter’s own award-winning publication. “The Stuffing Box” includes articles of interest to antique and classic boat owners, as well as news about our members, information on upcoming chapter events and recaps of recent events.

Boat ownership is not required!  Only an interest in antique and classic boats and a desire to make new friendships are needed to join us.

The ACBS/Chesapeake Bay Chapter’s Annual Boat Festival is held every Fathers’ Day weekend at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michael’s, Maryland.  This event is fun for the whole family!  Come see more than 100 antique and classic boats displayed in the water and on land, shop with our 60+ artisans and vendors, attend seminars focused on the restoration and preservation of antique and classic boats, and bring the kids to participate in some kid-friendly maritime activities. 

The annual Oktoberfest river run and picnic marks the end of the boating season for us.  While the weather may not always cooperate, a little rain doesn’t stop us from enjoying good food and drink and the company of good friends.
