Local Wooden Boat Restorer Featured at Baltimore Boat Show |
...Members of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society will display a number of finely restored classic wooden boats. The boats on display will include a 1927 Chris-Craft runabout and a 1947 Ventnor Class E runabout named "Hurry Home," which got its name at the height of World War II when coming home was on the minds of soldiers and their families. Visitors can experience the restoration process first-hand and talk with ACBS members and local restorer George Hazzard of Wooden Boat Restoration in Millington.
