  • Antique & Classic Boat Display –
    Take a step back in time and explore the craftsmanship and beauty of yesterday in an exhibit of vintage boats displayed by members of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the
    Antique & Classic Boat Society.

  • ...Members of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society will display a number of finely restored classic wooden boats. The boats on display will include a 1927 Chris-Craft runabout and a 1947 Ventnor Class E runabout named "Hurry Home," which got its name at the height of World War II when coming home was on the minds of soldiers and their families. Visitors can experience the restoration process first-hand and talk with ACBS members and local restorer George Hazzard of Wooden Boat Restoration in Millington.

Lovingly restored powerboats, ranging in size from a small outboard to a top-of-the-line, three-cockpit runabout, give you the chance to see a bit of history up close and offer insights into the long and storied tradition of boating on the Bay.
